E-commerce

E-commerce website development and marketing

For retail and D2C brands in Pakistan, the Gulf and abroad, Teknoesis builds the online store and then markets it: a Shopify or WooCommerce store for standard retail, or a custom Next.js store when your pricing or ordering does not fit a template. After launch we run the product feeds, Shopping and search ads, product-page SEO and email that bring shoppers to the store, with purchase tracking built in during the store build instead of added afterwards.

The problem

What makes e-commerce hard

  • A platform that fights the business

A heavily customized theme can end up fighting its own checkout, while a custom build can be far more than a simple catalogue needs. Picking wrong is expensive either way.

  • Product pages that search engines cannot tell apart

Hundreds of products with copied manufacturer text, duplicate variants and thin category pages give search engines little reason to show any of them.

  • Ad spend with no link to orders

If the ad platforms never see which visits became orders, the budget cannot be steered. Broken or missing purchase events are a common cause.

  • Shoppers who leave at checkout

Surprise shipping costs, forced accounts, missing local payment options and slow pages push buyers away at the last step, and the store owner rarely sees where.

Is this a fit?

Good fit if you

  • Retail and D2C brands starting a store or leaving a platform that no longer fits
  • Stores that sell through ads and WhatsApp and need the pieces connected
  • Owners who want the store, tracking and marketing planned together

Probably not a fit if you

  • Marketplace-only sellers who do not need their own store
  • Owners looking for a cheapest-possible template with no tracking or testing
  • Anyone expecting guaranteed sales from ads

Questions about e-commerce

Should we use Shopify or build a custom store?

Shopify or WooCommerce suits most retail stores with standard products and checkout. Build custom when pricing, ordering or the catalogue does not fit, for example quotes, configurators or B2B accounts. We put the recommendation and reasons in writing, and our blog post, Shopify vs. a Custom E-commerce Build: How to Decide, sets out the trade-offs.

How long does a store take to build?

As a planning range, a Shopify or WooCommerce store often takes 3 to 6 weeks and a custom store 10 to 20 weeks. The real figure, and the cost, depend on the number of products and variants, payment and courier integrations, extra currencies or languages, and how quickly product content arrives.

Can you migrate our existing store?

Yes. We move products, customers where the platform allows it, and set redirects to protect existing search traffic. Allow a planning range of 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the size of the catalogue.

Do you manage the ads after launch?

We can. That covers the product feed, campaigns, purchase tracking and a regular report. You keep ownership of the ad accounts, and we do not promise sales or a return on spend.

What do we need to provide?

Product data and photos, shipping and returns policies, payment account details, and access to any existing analytics or ad accounts. If the data is messy, we can plan a clean-up step first.

Can customers order on WhatsApp?

Yes. A store can open WhatsApp with the product already filled in, and with the WhatsApp Business API those chats can land in a CRM such as BrokLeads.
