Healthcare & clinics

Healthcare website development and local SEO for clinics

For independent clinics, dental and wellness practices, Teknoesis builds the website, the local search presence and the booking flow, plus software for patient-facing work. We plan around trust before traffic: content that your clinicians review, tracking that waits for consent, and a clear path from a search to an appointment. We do not promise health outcomes or rankings.

The problem

What makes healthcare & clinics hard

  • Content that has to be accurate

Health pages that overstate, simplify or copy other sites can mislead patients and cause problems with professional bodies and search engines. Every claim needs a source and a reviewer.

  • Patients search locally, in a hurry

Most people look for a clinic by service and place, often on a phone. Wrong opening hours, an unclaimed Google Business Profile or a page with no clear way to book lose them quickly.

  • Tracking that collides with privacy

Analytics and ad pixels on health pages can collect more than a clinic intends. Consent, data minimization and what is sent to ad platforms need deliberate decisions.

  • Booking flows that stall

A form that goes to a shared inbox, a phone-only process or a booking tool nobody tracks means the clinic cannot tell how many enquiries it receives or loses.

Is this a fit?

Good fit if you

  • Independent clinics, dental practices and wellness providers
  • Multi-practitioner practices that need clearer service and location pages
  • Practices that want tracked enquiries, with consent handled properly

Probably not a fit if you

  • Practices that want guaranteed rankings, reviews or patient numbers
  • Anyone seeking a certificate or a legal opinion on regulatory compliance
  • Projects that depend on copying treatment claims from other sites
  • Counselling practice, local SEO

A six-counsellor practice in Metro Vancouver, published with its permission: we audited its site, Google Business Profile and listings, fixed wording that conflicted with the counsellors' professional standards, and built conversion tracking. Some searches moved and others did not, and the case study says which.

Questions about healthcare & clinics

Are your websites HIPAA or GDPR compliant?

We do not offer compliance certification. We build with data minimization and consent in mind, and your own legal and compliance review decides what is acceptable for your practice and your region.

Who checks the medical content?

Your clinicians do. We draft in plain language with sources, you review and approve, and nothing with a health claim is published until it has been signed off.

Can you get us onto the first page of Google?

We cannot promise a position. We fix what search engines and patients read first, such as listings, hours, service pages and tracking, and report movement from Search Console. Results depend on your area and competitors.

Can patients book online?

Yes. We can connect the site to the scheduling tool you already use, or build a simple request form that reaches the right person. We track booking clicks, calls and submissions so you can see what the site produces.

How do you handle analytics and ad tracking on health pages?

We agree with you first on what is collected, add a consent step where it is needed, and avoid sending sensitive details to ad platforms. Tracking is limited to events such as a booking click or a call tap.

How long does a clinic website take?

As a planning range, a clinic site often takes 4 to 8 weeks, with the review of medical content as the usual constraint. The cost depends on the number of services and practitioners, the booking integration, and how much content needs clinical review. A local SEO audit and fixes run on their own timeline, about a week for the audit and two to four for the fixes.
