Email marketing and automation that people opted in to receive

Teknoesis, a software house in Lahore working with clients worldwide, sets up email marketing for online stores and service businesses on a list of people who agreed to hear from you: the sign-up forms, the automated flows (welcome, nurture, abandoned cart, re-engagement), the segments, the sending-domain authentication and the reporting. We build the sites and stores that feed those flows, so order and sign-up events reach the email platform correctly, and the technical side of sending is a normal part of our work.

Blasts to a list nobody chose to join

The common failure is one big list and one big monthly newsletter. Subscribers get messages that don't match why they signed up, open rates fall, spam complaints rise, and mail starts landing in the junk folder. Bought or scraped lists make it worse, and they put you on the wrong side of anti-spam law.

Good email is quieter and more specific: a short welcome that says what to expect, a few automated messages triggered by what someone actually did, and regular sends to segments that match their interests. It depends on a sending domain that mailbox providers trust, which is a technical set-up, not a design choice.

What we deliver

  • List building with consent

Sign-up forms and checkout opt-ins with clear wording, a record of when and how each person agreed, and a working unsubscribe on every message.

  • Automated flows

Welcome, nurture, abandoned-cart, post-purchase and re-engagement sequences, each with a stated goal, a trigger and an exit rule.

  • Segmentation and design

Segments based on behavior and stated interests, and responsive templates that match your brand and render properly in the major email apps.

  • Deliverability and reporting

SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up on your sending domain, list hygiene, testing, and reports tied to what happened after the click.

Flows and segmentation

We start with the flows that earn their place: a welcome series, then (for stores) abandoned cart and post-purchase, and (for service businesses) a nurture sequence that answers the questions buyers ask before they enquire. Segments come from data you already hold, such as what someone browsed, bought or asked for. Because we build the store or site, we can send those events to the platform ourselves instead of relying on a plugin. We write the logic down so your team can read it later.

Deliverability set-up

We configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC for the domain you send from, check alignment, set a gradual sending plan for a new domain, and watch bounces and complaints. Large mailbox providers such as Gmail and Yahoo expect authenticated mail and an easy unsubscribe from anyone who sends in volume, so this is groundwork, not a nice-to-have.

Transactional email from your app

Receipts, password resets and form acknowledgements are a different job from marketing email. We wire them into your product or site with a transactional service such as Resend, which is what sends the confirmations from our own contact form, and keep them on a separate stream from your marketing sends.

How we build it

Every email marketing project runs through our delivery process. These are the steps that are specific to this work. Teal steps are thinking, graphite steps are building, and orange ones keep it running.

  1. Audit and goals

Your list, sign-up points, current sending domain and what each email type should achieve.

  2. Consent and list plan

Sign-up wording, double opt-in where it fits, suppression rules and the records you'll keep.

  3. Authenticate the domain

SPF, DKIM and DMARC published and checked before the first campaign.

  4. Build flows and templates

Flows mapped, copy drafted with you, templates built and tested across email apps.

  5. Launch and warm up

Start with your most engaged contacts and widen gradually.

  6. Report and refine

Clicks, conversions from email in GA4 or your store, unsubscribes and complaints, with changes logged.

What you get

  • An audit of your list, sign-up forms and current sending set-up
  • Consent-based sign-up forms with stored opt-in records
  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured and checked
  • Welcome and at least one further automated flow, built and tested
  • Responsive email templates in your brand
  • A monthly report on clicks, conversions, unsubscribes and complaints

Questions about email marketing

Which email platform should I use?

It depends on what you sell and what your team will actually maintain. Klaviyo is built around online stores, Mailchimp and Brevo suit smaller lists and simple sends, and HubSpot makes sense if sales and marketing already work in it. We recommend one after looking at your data sources and budget, and we're happy to work on the platform you have. The platform subscription is billed to you by the vendor and usually grows with list size; our fee depends on the number of flows and templates and how much integration work the store or site needs.

Can you buy or import a list for me?

No. Emailing people who never agreed to hear from you harms deliverability and can break anti-spam laws. We can help you import contacts you collected with consent, and we'll ask how each source worked before we load it.

What about GDPR and CAN-SPAM?

In plain terms: in the EU and UK you generally need clear consent before marketing email, and you must make withdrawing it easy. In the US, CAN-SPAM requires honest sender details, a postal address and a working unsubscribe, and Canada has its own rules. We build sign-up forms, records and unsubscribes with this in mind, but your own legal review decides what applies to you.

What is DMARC, and do I need it?

SPF and DKIM prove an email really came from your domain, and DMARC tells receiving servers what to do if it didn't. Without them, your mail is more likely to be filtered, and others can more easily fake your address. We set all three up and check that your platform and your other senders pass.

How do you report on email?

We report opens and clicks as supporting signals, and focus on what happens next: orders, enquiries and bookings tracked through GA4, your store or your CRM. Opens are less reliable than they used to be because of mail apps that preload images, so we don't use them alone. Results depend on your list, your offer and your market.

Do you write the emails?

We draft them with you. You know your customers and your promises, we handle structure, subject lines and testing, and you approve every message before it sends. We won't invent offers, reviews or numbers for a campaign.
