Local SEO services: be found by customers searching near you

Local SEO helps people near you find your business in Google Maps and local search results, which is different from regular SEO because the Business Profile, reviews and your location carry as much weight as the website. For clinics, practices, shops and other service businesses, we fix your Google Business Profile, make your name, address and phone number consistent everywhere, build local pages only for areas you really serve, set up a review process that follows the rules, and track the calls, direction requests and bookings that follow. As developers, we also handle the LocalBusiness markup and the tracking in code. We work remotely with clients in Pakistan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Canada, the UK and the US.

Local visibility is lost in the small details

A local business usually loses visibility through small, boring mistakes: a wrong postcode on the website, old opening hours on the Business Profile, a closed location still listed, two near-identical city pages competing, and no way of knowing how many calls came from Google. Each is easy to fix, but nobody owns them.

The other temptation is shortcuts: a page for every suburb with the name swapped, buying reviews, or keyword-stuffing the business name. Google treats these as spam and may suspend a profile for them. We do the slower, checkable work instead.

What we deliver

  • Google Business Profile

Accurate categories, services, hours, description and photos, products or services with tracked links, and replies to reviews, all inside Google's guidelines.

  • NAP consistency and citations

One correct name, address and phone number across your site, social profiles and the directories that matter for your sector and country.

  • Local pages for real service areas

A strong page for each place you genuinely serve, with content specific to it. No doorway pages, no swapped-name templates.

  • Reviews, schema and tracking

An honest reviews process, LocalBusiness structured data that matches the page, and GA4 tracking for calls, direction requests and bookings.

Profile and listings clean-up

We audit your Google Business Profile and your listings, write down every mismatch, and fix them with your approval. That covers categories, hours, address, phone, website link and services, plus Bing Places and the directories your customers actually use. Where a listing needs the owner to verify it, we guide you through it.

Local landing pages that are worth having

A location page earns its place only if it has something specific to say: the services offered there, the team or address, directions, local questions answered. If a place doesn't justify its own page, we don't create one. Where thin city pages overlap, we merge them into one strong page and redirect the rest.

Our local SEO guide for service businesses

Reviews process and call tracking

We set up a simple, rule-abiding way to ask happy customers for a review, with no incentives and no filtering out of unhappy ones, and a routine for replying to every review. In professions where asking for reviews is restricted, we don't ask at all and focus on replies instead. On the measurement side, we track calls, taps, direction requests and form submissions so the work is judged on enquiries, not only on rankings.

How we build it

Every local SEO project runs through our delivery process. These are the steps that are specific to this work. Teal steps are thinking, graphite steps are building, and orange ones keep it running.

  1. Local audit

Profile, listings, website details, local pages, reviews and what competitors show for your main searches.

  2. Agree the fixes

Every proposed change written up for your approval before it is made.

  3. Fix details everywhere

Correct and match your name, address, phone, hours and categories on the site, profile and listings.

  4. Build and merge local pages

Strengthen pages for real service areas, merge thin ones, add local schema.

  5. Set up tracking

Calls, direction requests, booking clicks and forms measured in GA4 and Search Console.

  6. Review and re-measure

Replies to reviews, new posts and photos, then a comparison with the baseline after a few weeks.

What you get

  • A local audit with every finding written up for approval
  • Corrected Google Business Profile and key listings
  • A single source of truth for your name, address and phone
  • Rewritten or merged local pages for areas you really serve

  • Counselling practice in Metro Vancouver

We audited a six-counsellor practice's site, Business Profile and listings, with the client's permission to publish. In Search Console its main local search moved from an average position of 20 to 7.6 over three weeks. Two other tracked searches did not move, site-wide clicks rose 6% while impressions fell 12%, and the last two weeks were flat. The case study lists what changed, what didn't, and a planned re-measure.

Questions about local SEO

Do you guarantee a spot in the local pack?

No. Local rankings depend on distance, relevance, prominence and what competitors do, and we don't control any of them. We promise a clean profile, consistent details, honest local pages and tracking that shows what changed.

Do I need a physical address?

Google lists businesses by location, and it allows service-area businesses that visit customers to hide their address if they don't serve customers at it. What you can't do is invent an address or list a virtual office as a storefront. We check which setup fits your business under Google's guidelines.

Will you create a page for every suburb or city?

Only for places you genuinely serve and can write something useful about. Pages that repeat the same text with a different place name are doorway pages, which Google's spam policies target, and they can hurt the rest of your site.

How do you handle reviews?

We help you ask real customers at the right moment and reply to every review, good or bad. We never buy reviews, offer rewards, or screen out unhappy customers. Some professions have rules that restrict asking for reviews, and in that case we focus on replies and leave the asking out.

What do you need from me?

Manager or owner access to your Google Business Profile, access to your website and GA4 or permission to set them up, and your correct business details. Changes to content or your claims go to you for approval first.

How long does it take, and what affects the cost?

As a planning range, the audit takes about a week and the profile, listing and site fixes two to four, and a change should be judged over at least four weeks in Search Console. Cost follows the number of locations and profiles, how many listings are wrong, how many local pages need writing or merging, and whether the site is on a platform that limits what can be changed. The website work overlaps with regular SEO, and we often do both together.
