Content marketing and SEO writing: researched, written and reviewed by people

For service firms, stores and software companies that want to be found by what they know, we research what your customers search for, plan topics that work together, brief writers properly, and publish articles and service-page copy that is edited for accuracy and sources. Everything is written by people and reviewed by someone who knows the subject, usually an expert on your side for specialist topics. We also refresh old posts that have slipped and rewrite service pages so they convert. Because we are developers, titles, internal links and structured data go in correctly and the pages load fast. We do not publish unreviewed, mass-produced text.

More pages is not the same as more traffic

A common content plan is a list of keywords and a target of posts per week. The result is thin, overlapping articles written to a word count, with claims no one checked. Google's spam policies treat pages produced at scale mainly to rank as spam, and readers can tell when no one with real knowledge looked at the page.

We plan fewer pages and make each one earn its place. Each has a clear searcher, a question it answers in the first paragraph, sources where facts are stated, and a reviewer whose job is to catch what the writer got wrong. For health, finance and legal topics, that review is by someone qualified in the field, and your own professional review decides what is published.

What we deliver

  • Keyword and intent research

What people type, what they actually want to find, and which pages on the results page are already answering it. The output is a short list of topics, not a spreadsheet of thousands of terms.

  • Topic clusters and briefs

Articles planned in groups around one subject, linked to each other and to your service pages. Each has a written brief: the question, the reader, the outline, the sources and the next step.

  • Writing and subject review

Drafts written by people, edited for accuracy, clarity and sources, then reviewed by a subject expert before publication.

  • Refreshes and conversion copy

Updates to older posts that have lost traffic, and rewrites of service and landing pages so they explain the offer plainly and make the next step obvious.

SEO content programs

A planned set of articles around the topics your buyers search, with briefs, drafts, edits and on-page optimization: titles, headings, internal links and structured data that matches the page. We publish at a pace the review step can keep up with, which is usually slower than a content mill would.

Technical SEO

Refreshing old posts

We check Search Console for posts that earn impressions but few clicks, or that have slipped, then fix what's out of date, answer the query more directly, remove claims no one can support, and merge overlapping pages. A refresh starts from a page that already has impressions and links, so it is usually the first place we look.

Service-page and conversion copy

Copy for service, landing and product pages: who it is for, what happens, what you receive, what it depends on, and what to do next. Written in your voice, with facts you can stand behind.

How we build it

Every content marketing & SEO writing project runs through our delivery process. These are the steps that are specific to this work. Teal steps are thinking, graphite steps are building, and orange ones keep it running.

  1. Audience and intent research

Who you want to reach, what they search, and what a good answer looks like on the results page today.

  2. Topic clusters

A map of related articles and pages around each subject, with the order to publish them and how they link together.

  3. Write the brief

For every piece: the question, the reader, the outline, the sources to use and the page it should lead to.

  4. Draft and edit

Written by a person, then edited for accuracy, clarity and tone. Facts that need a source get one.

  5. Subject review and publish

A reviewer who knows the field checks the claims. You approve, we publish with titles, headings, links and markup in place.

  6. Measure and refresh

Track impressions, clicks and enquiries in Search Console and GA4, and return to each page after a few weeks to improve what the data points to.

What you get

  • A keyword and intent research summary with a prioritized topic list
  • Topic clusters with an internal linking plan
  • A written brief for every piece
  • Articles and page copy, edited and fact-checked, with sources noted
  • On-page optimization: titles, headings, internal links and structured data
  • A report on impressions, clicks and enquiries per piece, and a refresh list

Questions about content marketing & SEO writing

Do you use AI to write the articles?

Our editorial rule is that content is written by people and reviewed for accuracy before it is published. We may use software for research or to check a draft, but we don't publish unreviewed, mass-produced text, and we don't pad a site with pages whose main job is to catch searches.

How do you handle health, finance and legal topics?

With more care. Claims are sourced, a qualified reviewer checks the content, and we avoid promising outcomes. We build with that in mind, but your own legal or professional review decides what is published on your site.

How many articles will you publish each month?

As many as can pass review, which is usually fewer than clients expect. We agree a pace from your goals and from how quickly your own experts can review, rather than a quota that forces thin pages. Cost follows the number of pieces, how technical the topic is, and how many review rounds it needs.

Can you rewrite our old blog posts?

Yes. We start with Search Console to find posts with impressions but few clicks or a falling trend, then fix, merge or retire them. Sometimes the right action is removing a page, and we'll tell you when. We can also make the changes in your CMS or code, including redirects, merged pages and markup, so you don't need a separate developer to apply the edits.

Who owns the content?

You do. Once delivered and paid for, the articles and copy are yours to publish, edit and reuse.

How will we know it is working?

We report impressions, clicks and rankings for the target pages from Search Console, plus enquiries and conversions from GA4 and your forms or CRM. Results depend on your market and site, and content usually takes months, not weeks, to show up on competitive searches.
